UPDATE – 11.03.2020
Dear Resident/Business Owner,

Re: Cancellation of Public Consultation Event – Friday, 13th March 2020

With the rapidly evolving situation regarding the spread of Covid 19- Coronavirus, it is with careful consideration and great regret that we have taken the decision to cancel this event scheduled for Friday, 13th March 2020.

As a responsible Company, each decision we take must be informed and responsible and, in this instance, the right decision is to consider the wellbeing and safety of our staff and the wider community that may wish to attend the event.   The advice received from our retained advisors KPMG (Commercial Advisory Professionals) is that gatherings of people should be cancelled or rearranged, or Companies should look at alternative options.  It is for this reason Crocus have taken the difficult decision to cancel the planned event.

As an alternative option as mentioned above, Crocus would welcome your thoughts and feedback on our site layout and design proposals via our feedback section on our website (please note that Crocus respectfully ask that feedback on the principle/decision for 30 new homes in this location are not raised as part of the feedback process, as this outcome has already been determined by the Local Planning Authority).  You can fill this online form in and Crocus will then collate all comments received for review and implementation as appropriate. Our proposals will then be finalised, and a Planning Application submitted to Broadland District Council during April/May 2020.

To assist with receiving your feedback, the information which would have been available at the event will be on our website within the next few days at https://crocushomes.co.uk/coltishall-bure-gardens-public-consultation-event/

Alternatively, you can write to Crocus at: Crocus Homes, Saffron Barn, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, Norfolk NR15 2XP.

The deadline for your feedback is Monday, 6th April 2020, so that Crocus can action the feedback received in good time for our pending Planning Application.

We thank you for your understanding during this unusual event.

* Please note that our previous statement on our Website uploaded during the morning of 11.03.2020 that read “The current advice from the government is that gatherings of more than 25 people should be rearranged or organisations should look at alternative options. It is for this reason we have taken the decision to cancel the event”, should not have made reference to the Government’s formal advice to the nation (see above for correct wording relating to our retained Advisors advice).
